Room Temperature Vulcanization is a process by which you can create production representative parts with out incurring long lead times and high costs consistent with aluminum or steel moulds.
This process begins with an mould master(typically an SLA model). The master is used to create a silicone mould that is then vacuum injected with a polyurethane material to create the end product. An silicone mould allows you to create up to 30 production representative parts at a fraction of the cost of an injection mould.
Capabilities:
Access to hundreds of materials representative of specific production materials
Can produce part as soft as latex and as hard as polycarbonate and glass-filled materials
Mould making experience from 1/2" parts up to 72" parts
